to the new flavour of the day: - veteran restaurateur Simon MacLennan with Outer Limits Restaurant, morphs with the highly skilled and experienced Mother-Son Combo of Linda and Johnathan Ireland, who currently boast a three kitchen, BEE empowered success story. This venture, the brain child of Simon, will be flown under the banner of “Outside Events and Catering by Outer Limits”.

Linda and Johnathan’s passion for quality and detail, made them the obvious choice of partner in this new addition to Outer Limits range of services.

Outside Events and Catering by Outer Limits now has the ability to offer a “limitless” range of solutions to suit all styles and sizes of function, from an intimate three coarse dinner for ten friends, to a thousand guest, elaborate cocktail party, using seasoned chefs, highly skilled servers, movable bars and the appropriate cutlery and crockery for any occasion.

Outside Events and Catering by Outer Limits’ mission was to create a turn key solution for all functions from menu to staffing to décor to gifts, which is exactly what we’ve achieved! Clients no longer need bother with multiple contractors.

Outer Limits’ mass, bulk purchasing ability guarantees lower costs than other catering institutions, which means that it now becomes more cost effective for clientele to make use of our services, than doing the catering themselves.

Clientele do not have the wastage issue which would be a factor if they chose the self catering option.

Outside Events and Catering by Outer Limits is offering a launch discount of 10% on food and 20% on full bottled hard tack until the end of the calendar year.

Staffing

Outside Events and Catering by Outer Limits has a range of highly trained and professional staff , all of them having undergone extensive training in their various disciplines at RASA (Restaurant Association of South Africa). In addition to this, we are able to provide a DJ and sound equipment for all dance parties – call us for a quote. Future Flare has given our barmen extensive and rigorous training in the art of flaring and always add immense interest to any event.
